About Us

Who Am I?

My name is Laura Sams. I am the founder and Executive Director of RAM Ministries and creator and author of the Prayer Partner Books. From the time I was a young teenage girl, I have had a great desire to bring people to God. I also have a passion for helping people live their best life possible no matter how bad their circumstances may be. God, in His goodness, has led me to this ministry that combines these passions into one. Although I have had extensive experience with young people as a Youth Minister, Service Learning Instructor, Sunday School Teacher, and mother of six, I love working with people of all ages. My goal is to help educate and assist people with whatever needs they may have in order to put them in a position in which they can move forward with their lives.

About Our Logo

(Yes, we know these aren’t ram horns.)

The deer is a symbol of unconditional love and kindness.  His antlers represent a “reaching out” to all the world with this love.

We believe that to effectively serve God by serving others, we must first show each person the respect due as a person created in the image of God; assist them with their physical, emotional and material needs; and then, after having gained their respect and trust, we can minister to their spiritual needs as well.

Respect (R)

others no matter what their situation.  Unfortunate circumstances come upon all of us and we are all made in God’s image.  No one has the right to look down on anyone else.

Assist (A)

others in their physical, financial, and material needs.

Minister (M)

the gospel to everyone you can.  Finding Jesus is the only way to true peace and joy.
